A Dance That Happened Anyway

June 27, Cascade

June 27 began like any other summer evening in Yerevan.
But on the stone square below the Cascade — something quietly beautiful began to unfold.

People started arriving.
There was no music. No loudspeakers.
No one giving directions.

And still — they danced.

They came with the rhythm already inside them.
They came because dance doesn’t always need an invitation.
One by one, they joined hands, stepped into a circle, and let memory guide their feet.
Only the wide stone square, open to the sky.
Only movement, and shared breath, and laughter.

No one announced it.
No one organized it.
But it happened —
because sometimes, when a place carries tradition deep in its stones,
the people simply arrive to continue it.

We were there, watching with full hearts,
reminded once again that Cascade isn’t just a place to see, it’s a place to feel alive.

That’s Yerevan.
That’s why we call this place home.
